I'm neither obese nor do I smoke, but I do belong to the 16%. I wish, oh how I wish I didn't. Living like this is no fun. People mean well, but when you hear things like 'just be positive and things will be okay'! You just smile and say yes. You get to the point where you don't talk to people about anything, you try to downplay everything and you retreat. While lifestyle choices will greatly affect many, a very large number in fact, there are people like me that lifestyle changes will help to improve your mood, but not your condition.
