You’re Invited: Free Blue Cross Community 5k on Hawk Island

Michigan residents of all ages are invited to attend the first Blue Cross Community 5K Walk/Run at Hawk Island on Saturday, March 12.

This community walk/run is a goal event for the nearly 400 Lansing-area residents who have been working hard to achieve their New Year resolutions through the Blue Cross Community Couch-to-5K program – this year’s Lansing Winter Warm-Up challenge. The couch-to-5K program is a free, eight-week challenge designed to help residents of all ages and abilities take their first step toward fitness.

The Blue Cross Community 5K is free, and the entire community is encouraged to join, support and celebrate Winter Warm Up participants by coming out to walk or run the 5K on March 12. To register you or your family, visit winterwarmup.org.
