Registration Open for Detroit Riverfront Run

Marisa Kuczborski is a corporate communications intern for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.

Registration is now open for the third annual Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Riverfront Run on June 11, 2016. This 5K and 10K run or walk showcases the Detroit Riverwalk and Milliken State Park. Proceeds benefit the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.
All participants will receive a performance T-shirt, a commemorative medal and a one-day admission pass to the annual Detroit River Days festival. Register by May 11, 2016 for a discounted rate of $30 per person for the 5K, $40 per person for the 10K. Registration increases after May 11, 2016 to $35 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K.

Race Details:

Winners: The top female and top male participants in each age group will receive an award. Awards are grouped by age: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ Start Time: 9am - 10K 9:20am - 5K Parking: Free parking will be available to race participants at TBD location Race Route: Course Map will be available in May. T-Shirts: Pre-registered participants will receive their commemorative performance tech t-shirt on race day. T-Shirts for those that register on race day are subject to availability, and may need to be picked up later at the Parade Company.
