Applications Development

Our applications development team works closely with clients, business analysts and other team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of creative and quality technical solutions. These solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies and are in compliance with the organization’s architectural standards. Application developers are involved in the full systems life cycle and therefore are responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting quality application software that is delivered on time and within budget.

We are looking for applications developers that have:

  • 2 or more years in application programming and analysis experience
  • Ability to understand surrounding information systems and application architecture standards
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, identify and understand requirements, and develop alternative solutions

Business/Systems Analysis

Business and Systems Analysts are responsible for identifying and solving business issues through IT systems and business models. Business analysts build strong relationships throughout the enterprise and drive requirements, propose alternatives and suggest best practices. Systems analysts develop and design IT systems and assist in post implementation support and system enhancements. They are responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to systems and applications.

Information/Cyber Security

Individuals within Information Security are responsible for the planning, execution, and management of multi-faceted information security projects related to risk management, mitigation, response, compliance, control assurance and user awareness. They develop, enforce and audit security policies and procedures such as access, breach escalation, use of firewalls and encryption routines. Other responsibilities include conducting and reporting on internal investigations of possible security violations and developing risk analysis scenarios and response procedures. These individuals provide expertise and assistance to ensure the company’s infrastructure and information assets are protected.

  • IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, database design and administration and experience with IT security

Information Management/Architecture

Our Data Analyst and Database Administration teams are an integral part of the enterprise data management function.  These teams collaborate in the definition of organizational data needs as well as analyze and execute on efficient methods for storage and linkage throughout the full data lifecycle.

  • Data Analysts and Architects create a high-level architecture and data solution design for business intelligence and data warehouse projects in alignment with the enterprise data strategy and translate enterprise or business needs into long-term information architecture solutions.
  • Database Administrators provide technical expertise in the use of database technology and are accountable for the overall performance of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment. Once a database is in place, they monitor and analyze performance metrics and then allocate database resources to achieve optimum database performance for analytic consumption.

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • An inquisitive mindset, and are able to analyze and interpret data, analyzing results using statistical techniques to provide recommendations based on findings
  • Experience architecting data solutions according to industry standard data models
  • Experience writing functions, procedures and anonymous blocks. Must have strong hands-on experience in SQL, Transact SQL, or PL/SQL
  • Knowledge of database set up, table creation, roles and security as well as tablespace fundamentals

IT Operations team members are responsible for the operation of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers and networks. Summer Internship 2017 - Information Technology

Plan, develop, test and implement IT system solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity as well as support business strategies and goals for the IT organization.  Identify and communicate business needs and translate business requirements into technical system and functional specifications.  This is an intern position in one of the following areas:

Application & Delivery Services: Supporting claims, membership, front-end/back-office applications and other IT processes. Team member opportunities are also available supporting centralized delivery, testing and reporting functions. In addition, internship positions are available supporting health care value IT, information management, data analytics and electronic data interchange teams.

IT Business Operations: Supporting one set of non-technical planning and administrative business process/system such as IT resource management, IT budget management, IT performance management and IT employee development.

Production: Supporting the data center, disaster recovery, telecommunications, print, networking or other IT infrastructure operations.

Information Security: Focused on overseeing the enterprise information security functions which includes application security testing, information security policy/procedure development, security audits, incident response, access provisioning, and analytical support.

Enterprise Architecture Services: Focused on solution, technology or business architecture.
