According to University of California, Berkeley’s School of Public Health, for most cancer sites, individuals with a fruit and vegetable intake in the lower one-fourth of the population experience about twice the risk of cancer compared with those with high intake.
As part of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan’s three-month #KickCancer campaign, the Blues social media team came together to raise awareness for how Michigan produce helps #KickCancer in the most appropriate fashion.
