Getting in at least 150 minutes of exercise every week is another important step to take to avoid poor health. With these healthy habits in mind, it’s important to think about how you spend your day – especially when you’re at work. Sitting at your desk for long stretches isn’t exactly good for you and has even been linked to a variety of health concerns from obesity to cancer. About 80% of office workers spend between 4 and 9 hours a day sitting. Although it can feel unavoidable to stay seated for work, there are some healthy alternatives to squeeze in exercise from the comfort of your work station – no gym membership or workout clothes required. Watch these exercise ideas and remember to step away from your desk at regular intervals for a walk break.
