Customer Service Holiday Hours at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan

Over the holiday season we want to ensure that our customer service employees can spend time with their families. In some cases, our customer service hours of operation will be affected. Our walk-in centers will be closed on the following dates: • Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2018 • Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2018 • New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 2018 • New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2019 • Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 21, 2019 Through Dec. 31, 2018, our walk-in centers will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Beginning Jan. 1, 2019, our hours will return to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you prefer to call, please know that customer service availability on some holidays could also be affected. If you are unable to reach someone when you call, consider leaving a message on our online member portal. Simply log in to your member account at and click on “Messages” in the upper right-hand corner. Next, click on “Send us a message” and you’ll be taken to the message center where you can leave messages and communicate with our customer service team. You can also access the message center through the Blue Cross mobile app. We look forward to meeting your customer service needs through the holidays and into the New Year.
