Some of us qualify for Assistance but we still have to pay a high premium for our health care. It would be helpful to have BCBSM work toward helping low income individuals identify a subsidy source once the subsidy ends in 2022 or 2023. Every dollar out of pocket is a strain. How do we even buy a Christmas or Birthday present for grandchildren while paying for healthcare? I do not have prescription coverage with Blue Cross & it says that I do. BCBSM has never informed me of any type of prescription coverage, yet the page on my account shows I have coverage with my Legacy plan. I have called & never get a clear explanation. Show me how I can maximize my coverage/benefits! I have inquired about prescription coverage but was told that it would be more that what I have - which is with United Healtcare. I should add that I have had BC insurance from my birth & I will be 83 at the end of January! I would think that I would be considered a long-time valued customer. Why doesn’t BC reach out & give me some personal guidance?
