Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network will be honored as one of three partners in wellness by Arbor Circle, a West Michigan organization devoted to helping clients build resilience despite tough life circumstances. Janelle Hill, Director of Community Engagement & Advancement at Arbor Circle, said the recognition honors partners “who have helped support us in our mission to transform the lives of children, adults and families facing mental health, substance use and family concerns in a caring partnership with our clients and diverse community.” Blue Cross supports Arbor Circle through Board leadership, event and program sponsorship and serves as the organization’s health insurance provider. The recognition will take place during Arbor Circle’s spring dinner, which takes place on Wednesday, May 2 at 5:30 p.m. at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Other partners being recognized at the dinner include the Grand Rapids Symphony for their support of client emotional wellness through their Symphony Scorecard program, and Rhoda Klomega, owner of fashion line Delasie, who highlighted the importance of mental health services and reducing stigma through a fashion show last summer.
