The health care industry is experiencing huge growth: According to the U.S. Department of Labor, there will be almost three millions new health care jobs over the next five years. That is about twice as many new jobs as the industry average, which creates certain issues. For example, with so much competition, how can a company attract the attention of potential employees? How can employers find the ideal candidates for openings? What does the next wave of college graduates hope to get out of an internship and career? To help with these questions, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan will be hosting a Twitter chat with recruiters from Michigan’s top companies and schools. The goal is to help inspire new ideas and strategies for companies who hope to recruit and retain top talent in Michigan. By participating, employers will be able to understand some of the biggest concerns students have, as well as gain feedback on how to reach the millennial generation. The #BCBSMinterns Twitter Chat happens at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 28. Follow @BCBSM and our hashtag #BCBSMinterns to learn more about this topic and join the conversation.
