Hi Robert. Thank you for the question. We would refer you to the VA to confirm whether this Michigan law covers veterans. https://www.va.gov/contact-us/

I am a non-service connected, compensable herbicide-exposed Vietnam-era veteran. I was recently transported from a local hospital to another hospital for an emergency higher level of care by air ambulance. VA has denied my Beneficiary Travel claim and the air ambulance company has billed me for $72,177.00. The hospital that I was transported from assured my wife that they had received authorization from VA. Does this new law cover veterans who are enrolled in the VA health care system, but not covered for Beneficiary Travel?

Hi Sammie, we recommend calling the number on the back of your ID card. Or if you would like to complete this short secure form, a member of our customer service team will get in contact with you. http://miblues.co/1Bb6oI4.

I currently have AirMedCare. It doesn't seem to have a large coverage area. I have Medicare and Omaha plan F. Is there a better airambulance to meet my needs?

This is really good information regarding air ambulances. We need to have commercial regarding this coverage so that our members will be informed. Or at least send a flyer to our members.
