This award is a continuing recognition that the employees here at the Blues make business decisions to be open to new suppliers and innovation they bring to the Blues. Also, this event provided networking opportunities and we appreciated a time to meet and understand the solutions and offerings its members provide. Thank you to WBEC-Great Lakes – we are extremely proud to showcase this prestigious award!” In addition to the Excellence in Supplier Diversity Award, Erica White, supplier diversity administrator, for Blue Cross was recognized as Corporate Champion of the Year by WBEC-Great Lakes. “It is such an honor to have been named the Corporate Champion of the Year”, said White after receiving her award. “I absolutely love working with organizations like WBEC-Great Lakes because of what they do for all of the women-owned businesses. It’s important to our mission to work with diverse companies, and being that women are the fastest growing group of business owners, cultivating the relationship with WBEC Great Lakes is very important to me, and to Blue Cross. What a great day for the Blues!” Blue Cross is proud to be a leader for supplier diversity and continues to maintain its commitment to diverse businesses across the state.
