The BCBSM marketing people get a lot use of smoke and mirrors: It's not how many TIMES you lower or raise rates, it's how MUCH. By the bar graph you supplied, BCBSM has raised rates 16.4 % but only lowered them by 10.2 %. That would indicate an overall rate INCREASE of 6.2%, not .1%. What am I missing? I recently went through a very trying ordeal trying to get a Part B Constant Glucose Monitor. I finally got it after six weeks of back and forth stupidity with BCBSM only allowing me to deal with one supplier. My sister completed the exact same task in one week and had a number of suppliers she could deal with....dealing with BCBS of North Carolina. Demonstrating just how badly BCBSM is run compared with other BCBS franchises. Do your homework before you make such stupid blanket statements. I'm really dissatisfied with BCSM.
