Okinawan Practice of Sitting on the Floor

Studies correlate the ability to sit and rise from the floor without help with a longer life expectancy. Okinawans – who have a higher-than-average number of centenarians – are known for the practice sitting on the floor when eating, visiting, reading and relaxing. Join Cindy and Marissa as they discuss this practice for better posture, flexibility, muscle strength and possible longevity. Session will include the Drop 5 Virtual Weight-Loss Community.
