The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on all of us, but we know that it’s having a bigger impact on the mental and general health of American men than many admit. Concerns about economy and their families’ well-being has significantly impacted the mental health of many men during this time. If you are a man, or know a man, who has felt any impact from the COVID-19 pandemic, it may be helpful to hear from other men who have had similar experiences and learn from how they coped. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan wants to help you check in on your mental health with a special webinar focused on the mental effects of COVID-19 on men. This one-hour virtual session will include an interactive panel discussion with a diverse group of male community members who have had unique experiences during the pandemic. This session will be facilitated by a mental health specialist who will provide tips for coping with resiliency strategies and techniques, and outline resources available to support you and your family. Oct. 18: Register here: Noon or 6 p.m.
